Congratulations to Our Two Newest Retirees; Schmidt and Schwindy Sunday, 02 May 2010 Congratulations to Local 302’s two newest retirees. Both retirements were effective as of April 30th. Dave Schmidt retired with 31 years on the job. Dave was involved with the Local for many years which earned him the top job as a 10 year term of President. He continues to be involved with the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association. Jeff Schwindenhammer retired with 18 years of service, was a member of the bomb squad and devoted countless hours as the Local 302’s MDA Chairperson.
