2nd Annual Dakota Galusha Memorial Fund Golf Outing Thursday, 13 May 2010 On the morning of January 26th, 2009 an energetic 12 year old boy named Dakota Galusha was tragically killed as he fell into the path of a school bus at Northampton Middle School. As a result of this incident, the family and friends of the community have begun the "DAKOTA GALUSHA MEMORIAL FUND." Proceeds benefit a scholarship for a chosen Northampton Senior and provide aide and assistance to a child or family in need to to tragic situations. On Friday August 20th, 2010 (4th platoon is dayshift), there is going to be the "Second Annual Golf Outing" at the Southmoore Golf Course in Bath. Registration begins at 7AM and 12PM depending if you have the morning or afternoon flight. Individual golfers are $80 ($105 includes Polo shirt), foursomes are $320 ($420 includes Polo shirt). Prices include green fees, cart, range balls, hot dogs at turn, dinner, and participant gift and mug. If you would like to just attend the dinner reception, it is only $10. Dakota has ties to Local 302. He is the Grandson of retired Allentown Firefighter William Wise. In fact Bill and his wife reside in an In-Law apartment on the property of the Galusha family.
